IPSec secure IP VPN technology is the most effective approach to ensuring the integrity of public internet solutions. Basically it sections off a secure end to end route, or 'VPN Tunnel', from router to router, through the internet, exclusively for your use. This process is repeated for all data streams between each routing device. Within the secure 'tunnel', synchronous key coding and dynamic encryption enables the highest possible guarantees of integrity and security.

It does mean, however, that the viability of your network is dependent upon the router establishing and maintaining the 'tunnel' and that means the router set-up, configuration and reliability are absolutely crucial.
