UNIQLO is Japan's leading retailer of affordable, well-made, casual clothing.
After UNIQLO opened their first stores in England, they realised their network cost base of ISDN links to stores and an international leased line to Japan was not sustainable. They asked TFM to find new and innovative ways of solving the problems namely, to design a solution to reduce costs and give greater certainty with regard to variable call charges.
TFM rose to the challenge. The MPLS IP VPN solution provided broadband access circuits saving UNIQLO over 30% whilst doubling the throughput of existing ISDN lines. Because there are no call charges, UNIQLO now have a complete understanding of their costs.
'TFM act as an extension of UNIQLO which means they spend more time getting it right.' Mark Bulmer, UNIQLO
