Anglia Regional Co-Operative Society Limited (ARCS)
Anglia is a co-operative society selling over £300m of goods through over 100 stores.
To improve customer experience, ARCS wanted to:
- enhance their EPOS network to incorporate investments in Chip and PIN technology
- manage credit card transactions from a centralised date point
TFM's solution was deployed throughout the entire network with limited investment. It comprised a Tiscali IPVPN across the business and provided some stores with ISDN backup capability.
ARCS have centralised credit card transactions - EFT transactions from stores are now routed through the TFM data centre.
Network and operation costs are reduced and customer satisfaction improved. Fixed costs of DSL connections give ARCS better control over costs and faster transaction times reducing queuing time at tills.
